Football is synonymous as the most popular sport in the world. However, talking revenue athletes, apparently owned contract Eto'o, Messi and Ronaldo have nothing with those two Formula 1 world champion, Kimi Raikkonen and Michael Schumacher.

Raikkonen is the athlete with the biggest contract in the history of sports. F1 2007 world champion was never paid for a Ferrari of USD 51 million (Rp491 billion) for a period of 12 months. When he signed for 3 seasons (2007-2009). He paid USD 2.9 million (Rp27, 9 billion) every time down the circuit.

Then Schumacher is equally crazy. He never paid Ferrari USD 31 million (Rp298 billion) a year. Seven-time F1 world champion Ferrari was contracted for four seasons (1996-1999) and paid a total of USD 124 million (Rp 1.19 trillion) during his tenure. (IBK)

Biggest contract in world football:
1 Samuel Eto'o (Anzhi Makhachkala) USD 28.5 million per year
2 Lionel Messi (Barcelona) USD 27.7 million per year
3 Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) USD 17 million per year.
